Peer review in AUAC’s accreditation process is based on the fundamental assumption that quality in education is best served through a process that enables peers of the organization, informed by accreditation standards created and applied by professionals in higher education, to make the assessments essential to assuring and advancing the quality of the educational institution. We express our deepest gratitude to prospective volunteers who are interested in committing time and effort to further the mission of AUAC. Our goal is to provide you with training and professional development that will help you to assist in the accreditation process, and also provide valuable opportunities for you to gain knowledge and experience that you can bring to your career.
We welcome you to apply for a volunteer position. Upon approval, we will provide all of the information you need about the training process and schedule.
AUAC requires all volunteers to complete an online Evaluator Training Tutorial before serving as an evaluator. The tutorial is available through MaxKnowledge via the AUAC Online Training Center. There is no cost to complete this tutorial.
